AS paused as he was about to leave, looking back over his left shoulder, he could see another of the group standing off to one side. He hadn't seen her from where he had been standing due to a sapling blocking her from his view. He knew this mattered little as she would have not seen him where he was standing either.

Mentally shrugging, he starts to turn away again to leave. Suddenly he freezes staring at the woman with the amethyst hair.

That one looked round. Was I sensed? Yes, she is looking this way studying the tree line. Unusual... very unusual... hmm, interesting also. Perhaps this unforeseen detour will be of interest after all.

With that AS turns around and walks boldly into the clearing, straight up to the young woman that had sensed him. Stopping in front of her, he bows to her with the most exquisite courtly courtesy and says. "Good day my Lady. My name is Aragon Speed, and I am at your immediate service should you so desire it."

XD We turned this thread into an RP!

Ame looked to the man as he approached, merely standing silently and somewhat tensely, preparing for anything. But the way he was approaching didn't make her feel as though any immediate course of action was necessary. As he bowed to her, her eyes grew slightly, and she looked as he pledged his service. Ame merely gave a slight chuckle and nodded.

"Oh well... good day to you too... and thank you very much. I'm Amethyst Rose, better known as Ame-Chan. Pleasure.."

Perhaps it should be split and moved to a more appropriate place?

"Amethyst Rose, a beautiful name for a beautiful woman my Lady. This meeting may also be more than mere chance.

I am on an errand for the Emperor, nothing ground shaking, just delivering a message. The main route that I would normally take is currently blocked by an army of demons. I had to choose this alternate route to avoid them, I currently do not have the leisure time to spare for fighting them, so for expediency I chose to come via this alternate passage.

When I heard your group approaching, being a wary traveller, I moved into the forest away from the main path we are now standing on. I have had considerable training in how to move about without being seen or heard, and yet you sensed me. I find this intriguing.

I unfortunately do not currently have the time to stand and talk with you, my stopping at all is because I feel that you may be skilled enough to help the Kingdom in this hour of desperation, but I cannot tarry here longer.

If you and your companions are not already engaged in a task, I would welcome your company while I continue my journey, and we may further this discussion along the route.

May I have your company on this journey my Lady?"

Ame listened to this stranger that called himself Aragon, blushing only slightly as he complimented her. Her eyes seemed focused onto his, and it was almost as if she were watching his facial movements. After he'd finished his request, and she'd confirmed that he was sincere enough with his request, she merely smiled and placed her hands on her hips, looking to the others for a mere moment before looking back at him out of the corner of her eye.

"Well... I can't speak for the others, but I have no real business to take priority... so I suppose I could go along with you. If it's merely to deliver a message I can assume you are asking for my company, not my skills?"

She then flipped the kunai she had around her finger before tucking it back in her small pouch on the back left side of her belt. She then looked to Aragon and then back to the others, waving slightly.

"I'll see you later, I'm giving this lonely traveler some company..."

Suddenly, from behind Ame, a deep, rough voice, called out to her in a low tone. When Ame would turn around, she would see a man who stood approximatly six foot, two inches, wearing a white trenchcoat, between the shoulder blades, there was a symbol of a sword in which angel wings sprouted from the hilt. Across his back was a sheath buckled across it, the sword contained with in the sheath was unidentifiable other than the fact that it was a straight edged blade, and rather large at that. The trenchcoat was open, revealing his black muscle shirt which was tight around the chest, but semi-loose around the stomach area, which matched his black, loose, parachute material pants, and black combat boots.

"...Ame....we have certain business to tend to, we don't have time to follow strangers around."

Ame, hearing the very familiar voice, turned around and spotted the man instantly. She then placed her hands on her hips, leaning forward slightly, and spoke her response in a somewhat cold tone.

"Make me into a liar why don't ya? What business is it dear? This stranger has introduced himself to me, stated his request, and I accepted. Why don't you come with us, hmm?"

She then stood upright, crossing her arms and slowly smiling, raising her eyebrows and awaiting his response.

The man looked to her, returning her cold tone, with an agrivated expression, he crossed his arms, and looked to the others accompanying them.

"It's not my fault that you've forgotten, at any rate, why woul I want to come with you two, when we already have something of importance to tend to, something more important than following strange people who throw compliments of that magnitude at people they've only just met, we have escort a certain, small disaster, and, for that matter, I'm being paid to escort you too...as such, you have to come with me...besides, I'm not dealing with this turd on my own."

He then looked to Aragon momentarily, before looking back to Ame

AS turned to face the the new arrival, and listened to the exchange between him and Amethyst Rose. The insult that was thrown at him didn't bother him, he had had worse in the past.

What bothered him was the way this 'boy' thought of Amethyst as a possession. His body language, his words, and the way he demanded attention, made him look like he thought he was King - and someone was invading his land. The way he spoke indicated that what he felt inside was along the lines of 'Hey, where do you think your going with her? She's mine.'

There was once a time, not long ago, when women were revered for the fine creatures that they are. They were placed on pedestal's and honoured. Treated as equals, not as objects.

Unfortunately that was only the briefest of time throughout history. It only lasted for about 20 years. Before that women were treated hardly better than slaves, and it was turning that way again.

And this isn't righteous.

"Sir. you throw insults like a 8 year old, they are immature and petulant. Your manners are like your appearance... sloppy. And so far you have shown no more intelligence than a passing frog.

As you can see I can throw insults as well, and so far better than you. We could carry on this game, but it's not very productive though, is it?"

AS turns to Amethyst Rose and says. "It looks like your owner says you have a prior obligation. I shall not detain you any longer.

I'm afraid I haven't the time to argue with 'muscles' over there. Good day my Lady. I hope our paths cross again."

Bowing to Amethyst Rose again, AS turns, his nondescript brown hooded forest cloak flaring with the movement, and leaves the clearing, to continue his urgent errand.

Ame looked to the man and then raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms and listening silently as he continued his rant of watching over the child. She then looked around for a moment, and cleared her throat, looking to him with a somewhat irritated expression.

"Ok... where is Hikaru anyway? Not much of a well paid guardian you are."

She then stepped aside slightly as Aragon began to speak, and her eyes grew wide for the first few moments, and then she smirked, looking over to the man. While she was out of Aragon's sight range, she stuck her tongue out slightly, and then instantly returned to her original aggrivated expression. She then looked to Aragon as he spoke, and shook her head.

"No, I'm a free individual. He's not my owner. He's just been paid to watch over the girl I've been protecting for a while now, and then was for some reason paid to protect me too. He takes his job seriously... and he's a dick."

She looked to him and smiled slightly, then looked back to Aragon.

"If he's so into protecting me, he'll come along with us. I hope you don't mind me bringing Hikaru along.. she's talkative and clumsy, but she's sweet.... and obviously, I can't leave her out of my sight or else no one's going to protect her."

The man looked crossly at Aragon, who was this man to talk to him like this?, Ignorant, the girl and the woman that traveled with him were unaware of his capabilities, so who was this man to even begin to insult him?, A dead man. The man watched as Aragon began walking away, turning his attention toward Ame who asked where the rather troublesome girl was, he turned expecting to see the girl next to him, yet she was no where to be found, infuriated, this being the last straw, the man pointed his finger at Aragon.

"You think you're going to talk like that to me and expect to walk away?, I wasn't paid to kep you alive...and I wasn't paid to kill only those that threaten these two....."

Suddenly and with blistering speed, the man unsheathed his sword and threw it powerfully at Aragon in a way so that it would speed through the air straight, rather than spin. The blade passed by Aragon's face, milimeters from making contact, where upon it stuck into the ground behind him. Suddenly, the man would have seemingly have dissapeared for a moment, before Aragon would feel the cold of the man's blade pressed against the back of his neck.

" One thing you should remember about a mercinary....is that he cares not for the lives of those he's not paid to care for....kneel, and pray to whatever God you worship, these are your final moments."

Aragon slowed as Ame called that she would go with him anyway. He finally stopped when he realised that a member of their party was missing, and started to turn so that he could aid them in their search. As urgent as his errand was, this forest was no place for a child alone.

He heard the man shout at him and the rasp of a sword being drawn, and then the whistle of metal though air caused by the sword being thrown accurately and powerfully. Aragon saw the sword coming out of the corner of his eye. He dodged with a small movement to the side, not much of a movement, but enough that the sword just missed. It was close enough to his face and ear that he heard the sword whistle by, and felt the displaced air brush against his skin. He heard it embed itself into the ground behind him. Glancing at the man he saw a shimmer of air and the man seemed to fade and disappear. Before he could draw his own sword, the man was behind him and holding a blade to the back of his neck.

Damn he's fast. As fast as I am.

Then the man spoke with menace. "One thing you should remember about a mercinary....is that he cares not for the lives of those he's not paid to care for....kneel, and pray to whatever God you worship, these are your final moments."

Aragon stood still and smiled.

"And the one thing you should remember about strangers, is that they are strangers, and you do not know what they can do either. If that blade moves, we both die. If you look down you will notice that I have a tanto against your femoral artery. Did you really think that a man with two Nihonto would not have a full daisho set?

You insulted me, and I insulted you. That seems fair to me, and equal. So what do you want to do? We can both live, we don't necessarily need to like each other for that to happen, or we can both die. I have seen enough of the ugliness of this world to know that dying is not the end, but only a release, so I do not fear it. I would regret it however, as I feel I can still make a difference in this world, as can you. So make your choice, do we live another day? Or do we both die here?"

The man chuckled slightly, who did this idiot think he was?, Granted, he was skilled, however, his perception was, to say the least, very much off.

"Why don't you readjust your focus...there is roughly seven feet between the two of us, the reach of my blade being approximatly five foot, not taking arm length into account....I think you should reevaluate your position, for, in the time that it takes your weapon to span seven feet to strike me, I can assure you, your head will be cleanly severed from your body..."

Suddenly, the man's facial expression changed to one of irritation, just before a flash of golden light appeared behind him, when dimming, revealed a little girl in a glowing white dress with brilliantly glowing white hair. Her hands gripping her waist firmly as she looked upon the man with brilliant blue eyes.

"Saint Fenix!, Just what do you think you're doing?, You're supposed to be protecting the girl and her protector, not picking fights with mortals..."

The man, apparently named Fenix, with drew his blade and looked toward the girl, sighing and sheathing his sword

"Astray.....don't you have someone else to bother? This idiot is trying to lure the two of them away with his disgusting, sappy charm......"
